Title: Single, But Loved On Valentine's Day
Author: Sade Ming
Single, But Loved on
Since Valentine’s Day is a day dedicated to love and romance, most of us single folks probably don’t care too much for it. This day can make room for the ego to convince you that you are lonely and unloved. Consider changing your perspective so you can see the beauty this day has in store for you as well. In order to do this, you will have to be aware of any thoughts that bring you down. This could be thoughts of past relationships or maybe bitter thoughts toward others on social media. Release any negative thoughts as they arrive and try your best not to feed energy into them. Replace these thoughts with gratitude and love. You can do this by having gratitude that you are not in an unhealthy relationship. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather be single than in a relationship that did more damage than good. Invite the energy of love in by reminding yourself that you are loved and that love is not only expressed through a romantic relationship. You can express love for yourself, your family and even friends.
Choose love over the ego today by:
- Catering to yourself
- Doing something special with your children
- Going to dinner with friends that are single as well
Happy Valentine’s Day from the LNE team!
