Upholding the mission, principles, and vision of Love...NoEgo, The LNE Volunteer Advocate Team is a volunteer community outreach team that advocates for Love and Communication. Our advocation purpose includes supporting the Love...NoEgo Brand of ensuring positive and healthy development for our kids and young adult clients. We encourage volunteerism and internship of all kinds as we aim to utilize your strengths and areas of passion to help strengthen our team and better this world.   

WHAT WE DO:
There are many ways to get involved. Overall, we want to teach and show the youth how to live from their natural love space rather than the egotistical space while pushing our mission forward. And we do that through four main services:
 Professional Speaking, Mentoring, and Workshops..

OPPORTUNITIES

  • Assist and or Table at  Community and Organizational Events and Workshops: (See Events and Workshops). 

  • Volunteer Community Clean-up: of The Love No Ego Foundation Roadway , Future Park Site. and adopted trail at Ragged Mtn Natural Area. 

  • Volunteer Coordinator 2: in unison with Volunteer Coordinator 1, recruit other volunteers and arrange logistics for volunteerism. 

  • Brand & Community Influencer: connect with other organizations, individuals, or groups with similar missions in sharing and advocating for the mission of Love...No Ego. Gaining overall support. 

  • Social Media Specialist: perform administrative and social media acts.

  • Expert Extender: share and extend your expertise with our youth, and create, help, and or lead a workshop, program, or event.

  • Become a Love...No Ego Mentor: positively lead youth participants and mentees with weekly and ongoing sessions. 

  • Sponsor a Youth Mentee: financially support and pay for a mentee's sessions, build a relationship, and be resourceful.

  • Sponsor a Love...No Ego Talk/Presentation/Workshop: connect you and or your business to a trusted and impactful brand and mission.

  • Join our Board of Directors or Advisory Team

  • Join our LNE Speakers Team, Becoming a LNE Speaker

This document is not intended to be a legally binding contract between us and it may be canceled at any time by either us or you. Completing this application does not guarantee or solidifies your volunteerism and or internship. Once your application is accepted, you are cleared to view our Calendar of Events and register to volunteer for any event on the calendar.

 

You are applying to volunteer or intern at the Love No Ego Foundation, Inc. This means that, if you accept the role and are accepted for the role, you perform all purposeful acts on the basis listed in your copy of the organization handbook/award letter/official notice and you will or will not receive remuneration or payment for your work, other than reasonable reimbursement of expenses with approval (see more below). 

 

What you can expect: The Love No Ego Foundation values its volunteers and interns, and we will endeavor to provide you with:

 

  • Written position description so you understand your role and the tasks you are authorized to perform

  • A copy of the Love No Ego Foundation Handbook

  • A full induction, hands-on orientation, and any training necessary for the role. Your Volunteer Coordinator (s) will schedule this with you. Volunteer training occurs once a month, every month, making it convenient and flexible for you to receive your training. 

  • A safe environment in which to perform your role

  • Respect for your privacy, including keeping your private information confidential

  • A director/supervisor, so that you have the opportunity to ask questions and get feedback

  • Reimbursement for your reasonable expenses

  • Insurance to cover you for the purposeful acts you are authorized to perform

 

What the Love No Ego Foundation asks of You?

ETHICS. We ask that you:

  • Support the Love No Ego Foundation and its mission, principles, and vision.

  • Participate in all relevant induction and training programs

  • Only undertake duties you are authorized to perform and always operate under the direction and supervision of nominated staff and obey reasonable directions and instructions

  • Understand and comply with the foundation’s policies and procedures including policies, for example, equal opportunity, health, and safety, privacy, and confidentiality policies. A full copy of the Foundation’s policies and procedures is available at www.lovenoego.org (located in the footer of every page).

  • Notify your director/supervisor or another member of staff of any health and safety issues or potentially hazardous situations that may pose a risk to you or others and report any accidents or incidents relating to staff, volunteers, or the workplace.

  • Behave appropriately and courteously to all staff, clients, and the public in the course of your role

  • Use any property or equipment given to you in your role safely and only for purpose of the role and return it to the foundation when you finish your volunteer role

  • Let us know if you wish to change the nature of your contribution (e.g. hours, role) to the Love No Ego Foundation at any time

  • Comply with the law at all times, and be open and honest in your dealings with us and let us know if we can improve our program and the support that you receive

Your contact person at the Love No Ego Foundation will be provided to you. If you have any questions or concerns about your role, your health, and safety, or if there is any assistance you need to help you undertake your role, please contact him or her.

It is therefore important that you only perform the tasks in the role description and as instructed by the foundation. To be covered by our policies, procedures, and insurance, it is also important that you are not affected by drugs or alcohol when you are volunteering.

 

Volunteer health and safety:

Your safety is a priority. We always need to consider volunteer health and safety issues. If there is ever any reason during your purposeful work that you do not feel safe, please remove yourself from the unsafe situation immediately. The Love No Ego Foundation has a duty of care to minimize risks to everyone affected by its conduct.

It also means that as a volunteer,

  • take reasonable care for the health and safety of others,

  • comply with any reasonable instruction by the Love No Ego Foundation,

  • let us know of any concerns you may have regarding safety in undertaking your role and with any policies and procedures of the foundation.

Please do not hesitate to talk to your coordination or director at any time if you have any health and safety concerns.

 

Information we require before you can start in the volunteer role:

Before you can commence the volunteer role, the Love No Ego Foundation will conduct a background check on you, in accordance with Intellicorp.

 

Volunteer expenses and other benefits as a volunteer: 

The Love No Ego Foundation will provide you with reimbursement for any reasonable out-of-pocket expenses that you incur when performing authorized tasks associated with your role. We do this to ensure that you are not financially disadvantaged as a result of your position with us. These payments are not remuneration or wages. You will need prior approval and will always need to produce receipts. We may sometimes provide you with other benefits as part of your volunteering role (examples include training, free food, accommodation, event entry, clothing, or equipment). Where this occurs, it is on a gratuitous basis at the discretion of the Love No Ego Foundation and is not a payment in lieu of salary.

 

Insurance:

We are committed to providing adequate insurance cover for staff, interns, and volunteers whilst carrying out their purposeful acts that have been approved and authorized by us. Please let us know of any concerns and occurrences at your earliest and most immediate convenience that occurs during your time with us.
