Grants and Fundraising Coordinator Assistant (Board Position):

We’re looking for a fun and responsible heart-led leader and engager who is passionate about making a lasting impact alongside The Love No Ego Foundation (LNE). You’ll be joining a dedicated team of caring individuals who support and uplift one another while advancing our mission to empower young people and communities! Summary of Position: 

Grants Coordinator and Fundraiser Coordinator Assistant is a dual-role position responsible for researching and applying for grant funding while also executing other fundraising strategies to secure financial resources for The Love No Ego Foundation. This role requires strong skills in communication, research, organization, and analytical, along with basic experience in grant management, fundraising software, and nonprofit operations. This position works closely with the founder of The Love No Ego Foundation as well as the LNE Events Coordinator (with events related to fundraising) to ensure efficiency, a balanced workload, and again, IMPACT!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Perform prospective research for grants, evaluating and identifying prospects for funding opportunities.

  • Manage and co-coordinate fundraising events and fundraising budgets, tracking and reporting on fundraising activities and outcomes. 

  • Cultivate and maintain donor relationships.

  • Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements associated with grant funding.

  • Collaborate with fellow LNE team members to ensure compliance and overall effectiveness.

  • Attendance and reporting at Board meetings and some team meetings.

📌 Position Details:

  • Minimum 1–2-year term commitment with an average of 4–6 hours per week.

  • Volunteer Board Member position. This role does not provide any monetary compensation. Reimbursements for travel and related expenses are permitted.

📌 Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree preferred (but not required) in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, public administration, or business.

 

  • Experience: LNE prefers that the candidate has experience in grant writing, grant management, and fundraising.

 

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for proposal writing, report generation, and donor engagement. 

 

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using grant management software, donor databases (e.g., Grants.gov), and Microsoft Office Suite. 

 

  • Organizational & Analytical Skills: Strong organizational abilities, including time management skills, and analytical skills to manage multiple projects and analyze data. 

 

  • Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with stakeholders.

Events Coordinator:

The Love No Ego Foundation (LNE) Events Coordinator manages the aspects of events, including planning and logistics to assisting in marketing and budget control that support the LNE mission, while maintaining a pulse on fundraising, partnerships, and branding. Key responsibilities include developing event concepts, securing venues and vendors, creating promotional materials, managing guest registration, overseeing on-site execution, and assessing risks. This candidate must be an excellent communicator, highly organized, and can adapt at working with volunteers, vendors, and staff to ensure events run smoothly and achieve their specific goals. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Conceptualize, plan, and execute events, including fundraisers, galas, campaigns, and community outreach events. 

  • Budget Management: View, create, and co-manage event budgets, tracking all expenses and ensuring they stay within the allocated limits. 

  • Vendor & Logistics Coordination: Source and coordinate with vendors (caterers, decorators, AV, etc.), manage contracts, and oversee all logistical details. 

  • Marketing & Promotion: Co-develop marketing strategies with LNE Email Marketer, promoting events through social media and public relations.

  • Attendee and Onsite Management: Handle event registration, ticketing, sending invitations, managing guest lists, and ensuring a smooth check-in process. 

  • Event Risk Assessment: Be aware of the regulatory needs and potential risks when planning events and ensure necessary permits and certificates of insurance are in place. 

  • Donor & Volunteer Engagement: Work with LNE staff, coordinating with LNE Volunteer Coordinator and Fundraising Coordinator Assistant to cultivate donor and sponsor relationships.

 

Required Skills:

  • Organization & Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain attention to detail, and meet deadlines.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders. 

  • Project Management: Experience in planning and executing events and projects from start to finish. 

 

  • Marketing & PR: Knowledge of event marketing strategies, social media platforms, and public relations techniques. 

 

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google, and some event planning software.

 

  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, some weekends, and potentially travel for events.

 

Position Details:

  • Minimum 1–2-year term commitment
     

  • Part-time: 5–10 hours per week
     

  • Paid Position as an Independent Contractor of $25 per hour

Volunteers:

Upholding the mission, principles, and vision of Love No Ego, The Volunteer Advocate Team is a volunteer community outreach team that advocates for Love and Communication. Our advocation purpose includes supporting the Love No Ego Brand of ensuring success for our kids and young adults. We encourage volunteers of all kinds as we aim to utilize your strengths and areas of passions to help strengthen our team and better this world. There are many ways to get involved. Overall, we want to teach and show the youth how to live from their natural love space rather than the egotistical space. And we do that through our services: Motivational Speaking and Mentoring.

Mentors:

Overview:

As a Youth Mentor at the Love No Ego Foundation, you will play a vital role in guiding and supporting young individuals in their personal development. You will work closely with youth in our at-risk society, providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and mentorship to help them navigate the challenges they face and achieve their full potential. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of young people through helping them live with purpose while also contributing to the community's overall well-being.

 

Key Responsibilities include providing support and guidance through conversations, actions, and activities. Being an advocate for your mentee, remaining in collaboration your mentee, engaging in the community with your mentee, and helping to implement the Love...No Ego Curriculum with your mentee. 

 

Some Qualifications Include:​​​

  • This position asks for a minimum 2-year term commitment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with young individuals from diverse backgrounds.

  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.

  • Healthy and effective Communication Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of mentees and the organization.

  • Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of the organization.

  • This is an Independent Contractor position. Not a W2 Employee position. 

  • Degree is awesome but not required!

Vice Chair (Board Position):

The LNE Vice Chair of our board will primarily act as the Chair's deputy, supporting the LNE Chair and assuming the role in their absence. They also contribute to the overall leadership, may serve on committees, and help manage board member training and engagement.

Here's an overview look at the Vice Chair's responsibilities:

1. Supporting the Chair:

  • This position asks for a minimum 2-year term commitment. 

  • Acting as a sounding board and providing guidance to the Chair.

  • Assisting with planning board meetings and agendas.

  • Helping to delegate tasks and ensure a manageable workflow for LNE Board.

  • Facilitating communication and collaboration among board members. 

2.. Additional Responsibilities:​

  • Contributing to board member training and development.

  • Helping to ensure that the board is functioning effectively and fulfilling its governance responsibilities.

  • May help plan board and team outings, meetings, trainings, and retreats.

Volunteer Coordinator (Board Position):

The volunteer coordinator's responsibilities include recruiting and training new volunteers, keeping a database of volunteer information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, keeping volunteers informed, and conveying the organization's purpose to the public in relation to the mission of The Love No Ego Foundation. This position asks for a minimum 2-year term commitment.
