Join us on a fun day-trip to Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue, a 172-acre parcel in western Albemarle County, Afton, Virginia. Hope’s Legacy Equine Rescue has horses and donkeys ranging in age from from 3 - 35 years old. They are an all-breed rescue working to save equines from a variety of situations including, but not limited to: abuse, abandonment, neglect, slaughter or whose owners can no longer care for them. They are dedicated to working with our future generation, teaching them responsible equine care.

What will the day look like?
8:00 AM - Please meet us at our drop-off/pick-up spot Wegman's (parking lot near The Pub)
9:00 AM - Arrive at Hope's Legacy Equine Rescue Farm
Enjoy the farm, the horses, and nature, as we learn the stories of these beautiful animals. Lead by Staff of Hope's Legacy Equine Farm.
